This roundhouse was built with nine locomotive stalls, and a small machine shop in the middle. By 1956, after the arrival of diesel-electric locomotives, the GN had reduced the building to four eastern stalls and the machine shop. When the railroad abandoned the building, it removed the remaining tracks and the turntable.
